From chat: Someone also asked Lemieux if they would release a box set like Fall of 73 in 2013 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of those tours. Lemieux responded that he and Rhino weren't very good at anniversaries(Europe 72 being released 39 years after tour or Spring 90 being released 22 years later). He said that if a release worked out to be on a round number anniversary, it would just be a "happy accident". That would seem to say that a Fall 73 box set is not on the immediate horizon, unless Lemieux was just trying to throw us off...

Dick Latvala's family and many others prob have a lot of missing tapes. I understand many "walked" out of the vault back in the day, before Rhino was involved, so I doubt if they are legal Rhino property.

Keep your eyes peeled for those old-dead-hippy garage and estate sales - lol

I believe these were all taken back from his house shortly after Dick died.

I have always wanted to go through and make a list of shows that do not circulate in at least listenable quality to determine what might possibly emerge. I am curious as to how many shows this would be.

I just wish folks would have the courtesy to post them here before returning them.
